Steve Rowan

Steve is the Managing Partner of Meridian Financial Partners and is currently in his 22nd year as a financial advisor. He began his career at Ameriprise Financial in 2003 and held multiple leadership positions during his time there. When he arrived at Minneapolis Financial Group in April of 2009, he was asked to lead a team of new and experienced financial professionals as well as serving his own clients. Steve works in many areas including retirement income planning, investment and risk management, estate planning, and executive benefits. He currently holds his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation.

Steve has served on multiple boards including the Concordia University Alumni Council and the Sales Manager Advisory Board.  He also serves as the Girl’s Director for the White Bear Basketball Association.  Steve was recognized in 2012 as “Advisor of the Year,” by Minneapolis Financial Group based on calendar year sales and has been named a Partner every year since his initial year joining the firm.  He also qualified for “Management Council” in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014.

Steve grew up in Lakeville, MN and went on to attend Concordia University in Saint Paul, MN where he attained his BBA in Finance and Marketing Management.  During his time at Concordia, he played football and served as captain his senior season while also meeting his future wife. He now resides in Gem Lake with his wife, three daughters and two dogs. Steve likes to stay busy in his spare time by working on projects outdoors, coaching basketball, golfing, and taking family trips to the cabin.
